This page is for notes and materials from my mini-course on algebraic functions and Riemann surfaces (after Klein).

A lot of this course has come out of conversations with Josh Batson, and his wonderful set of notes: How to See a Meromorphic 1-Form. This is a modern update of the first section of Felix Klein’s On Riemann’s Theory of Algebraic Functions and their Integrals (available thanks to Project Gutenberg).  Klein’s Elementary Mathematics from an Advanced Viewpoint is also worth reading.
