Roosevelt Institute

The Roosevelt Institute, working to redefine the rules that guide our social and economic realities, is home to the nation’s largest network of emerging doers and thinkers.Members, organizing on 120 college campuses and in 38 states nationwide, partner with policy makers and communicators to provide them with clear ideas and plans rooted in progressive values and supported by policy research.

In 2004, a group of fellow students and I founded the Roosevelt Institute’s National Network. For the next two years, I helped build and lead the organization, serving as Executive Director in 2006, before returning to college and beginning graduate school.

In 2015, the Network was recognized with a MacArthur Award for Creative and Effective Institutions.
